Paintings are not knowing what will appear on the canvas. Now the irony is the paintings just come out this way. The intersections are abstractions reflecting many layers of complexity of felt experiences. The emotions, the relationships, the experiences, are active meditations that make their way into marks and color. While these feelings, people, and encounters may come and go they can still be found somewhere in my paintings.
